Technology has made our lives more convenient than ever, but rapid technological progress marginalizes some communities, such as older adults and people with impairments and disabilities. Min Heong Hong thinks that a designer's role is to enable users able to enjoy products and services.
She believes that intuitive designs focusing on ease of use are more effective and inclusive in increasing users' ability to access products and services. Hence, her design process starts with thinking from the user's perspective. She also collaborates with various students and designers from different backgrounds and industries to learn and understand more about diverse cultures and communities.
